Nearly 60 middle and high school students visited the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus this week for the Blugold Beginnings Entrepreneur Camp.

The camp was established in 2008 by Jodi Thesing-Ritter and is wrapping up its second year of supporting students interested in becoming entrepreneurs. During this week, participants, along with UW-Eau Claire student mentors, attend classes lead by UW-Eau Claire faculty and visit Eau Claire businesses founded by local entrepreneurs.

Even future entrepreneurs need breaks to rejuvenate. The students and their mentors were given an opportunity to cheer on the Eau Claire Express team on Wednesday evening. For more information about Blugold Beginnings: http://www.uwec.edu/Blugoldbeginnings/.
