Becca Cooke is the founder of Red's Mercantile, a modern home goods and accessories store in Eau Claire.

How long has Tangled Up In Hue been established? "Red’s opened in November 2015 - as of July 1st we’ll have been open for 9 months."

Why did you choose Eau Claire to build a business? "I chose to come back to Eau Claire to be closer to the things I love - family, our lakes and rivers, and Friday night fish frys. I always wanted to be an entrepreneur, but I wasn’t sure in what capacity. When I saw the shop space open on Dewey I felt like it was the perfect time to dive in with the energy of downtown building."

What is special about Eau Claire's vibe? "Eau Claire is a town without airs. It’s full of humble people who keep their focus on their craft. Folks who spend months toiling on an album, concocting an idea for a new restaurant or starting a brand."
