The Perfect Pitch

On Friday, entrepreneur students from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's capstone entrepreneur course presented their semester long business plans at Volume One. Students were given between 10-15 minutes to pitch their idea. Not only were students' projects graded, a live panel of judges selected first place winners. The morning sessions winning pitch was by Daniel Beck and Nick Brekken, who pitched their business idea of Midwest Meals, a meal prep company based out of Eau Claire. The afternoon winning pitch was by Leah Pronschinske, who pitched her business idea of The Affogato Cafe, a dog friendly, organic coffee shop. Events like this prepare students for their future entrepreneurial encounters - like delivering a successful pitch!
