A Chippewa Falls High School student has been named Junior Achievement of Wisconsin’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Sophomore, Natalie Abbott, is being recognized for her honey business, The West Hill Honey Company, which began as a 4-H project when she was 10. Abbott makes lip balm and bottled honey from her hives and sells it at local boutiques, craft fairs and salons. Like many entrepreneurs, Abbott has faced her fair share of challenges. Last year, a bear destroyed three-fourths of her beehives. Moving forward she hopes to rebuild 20 of her hives and continue to expand her honey and beeswax business. She will be honored at Junior Achievement's Wisconsin Business Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on April 21 in Milwaukee.
