The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO), has reconvened for the spring semester. On Wednesday, during the university’s student organization recruitment fair, CEO members promoted their club and the benefits that come with membership. The goal is to help students jump-start their entrepreneurial careers. CEO holds weekly meetings where students network with peers and business professionals. The organization, specifically targeted at students interested in entrepreneurship, is part of a greater network of CEO chapters across the country. Last fall, nine students from Eau Claire’s chapter participated in the 2015 Collegiate Entrepreneur Organization (CEO) National Conference in Kansas City, Missouri. This semester, CEO hopes to engage and encourage participation among their members through speaker presentations and a possible spring entrepreneur event.
