UW-Eau Claire Welcomes New Entrepreneur Professor
WRITTEN BY Alysha Stoffel
Sam Zordich, CEO and founder of RAI Stone Group, a local business that creates financial analysis software for businesses, will begin teaching at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire as an entrepreneur professor beginning spring 2016. Zordich is not only an entrepreneur and leader, she is an experienced educator. Before coming to Eau Claire, she taught entrepreneurship at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. While at UW-Eau Claire, Zordich will teach a course in management that focuses on new venture feasibility. Playing on her strengths, she will help students learn how to conduct operational and financial analyses when designing a business model. As a professor at the university, she will be able to provide a real-world teaching approach. “I’ve been there, done that. I am able to provide knowledge that can’t come from a textbook,” says Zordich. When you think about it, what’s better than an actual entrepreneur teaching a class in entrepreneurship?
